ABOUT US

Birchview, A Memory Care Community, specializes in providing assisted living services to seniors with memory loss.  We are an Enhanced Adult Residential Care Community that has a specialized dementia care contract with the Department of Social and Health Services.  As one of the communities in the state of Washington to be selected for this program, our care-giving staff has special training in dementia care and mental health. 

Setting…Our secured courtyard provides a winding walkway through garden areas complete with lawn and birch trees.  Sweeping mountain scenes make for beautiful view rooms.  Large rooms provide a haven where privacy and dignity are honored, as reflected in each apartment’s private bathroom and walk-in shower. 

Services…In our community, residents enjoy a home-like atmosphere and receive assistance for daily living and medical needs from our Licensed Nurses, while Caregivers assist residents 24 hours a day.  We provide meaningful activities in individual and group settings, as well as recreational outings weekly.  Other provisions include food and dining services with three home-style meals, housekeeping, and laundry services.  An on-site beauty and barber shop provides residents with regular hair-care. We also offer podiatry, contracted physical therapy, and optical services.  Local physicians provide in-home visits to many of our residents.  Respite care is available to family members taking care of a loved one at home, whether for a day or an extended vacation.
